Top Puroresu Moves

Some people first get into puroresu from watching a highlight video of moves or seeing a link to an awesome move. I saw the clip of the Ganso Bomb long before I knew anything about puroresu and I am sure I am not the only one. Wrestling moves in puroresu a lot of times are moves that fans of only American wrestling haven't seen before on TV as some of the moves are too dangerous or risky for the major promotions here in the States. Some indy promotions might use them of course, but for the mainstream they are still mysterious. I have literally thousands of wrestling move videos at Puroresu Central, but that won't help you find moves that you might have seen in videos. So I have taken 50 moves that originated or were made popular in Japan and given you a video of the move, who does the move, and what promotion they wrestle for. These shouldn't be considered the top 50 moves in Japan, but rather some of the... well, cooler moves that Japanese wrestlers do or most historically significant. Click on the name of the wrestling move or picture to open a video of the move for your viewing pleasure.
